Responsibilities:
- Responsible for promoting and selling cruise vacation packages to prospective customers.
- Responsible for maximizing cruise bookings and sales revenue.
- Provide accurate information on itineraries, accommodations, onboard activities, and pricing.
- Handle inquiries, address concerns, and guide customers through the booking process.
- Process bookings, collect payments, and issue necessary documentation.
- Proactively follow up with clients to nurture leads and secure bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cruise offerings, and promotions to provide customers with the most up-to-date information.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree holder in Travel or Tourism or equivalent.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the travel industry or retail sales.
- Passion for travel and knowledge of cruise vacations.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office application and Chinese word processing.
- Sound knowledge of GDS reservation systems such as Amadeus is preferred.
- Must be digital savvy and good with web applications and computers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Retail Sales Representative/Retail Manager.
